Wednesday, August 19 is KW Technology Day at Mega Camp in Austin, TX! The special session for Technology Ambassadors and MC Tech Coordinators is scheduled from 9 - 11 AM, in Room 9ABC. Topics to be announced soon. 

The tech talk continues at 1:30 PM the same day, as we kick off this year's Mega Technology Camp. We hope to see you there!

Have you shared your app today?
The KW Realty Real Estate Search app is downloaded an average of 2,000 times each day. Yet, only 41 percent of those apps are branded to an agent. That means 59 percent of the consumers with the generic Keller Williams franchise app may end up working with an agent outside of KW.

Mobile apps are no longer a nice-to-have item in your real estate agent toolkit; they are a must-have. So, share your app today! 

On yesterday's webinar, our guest instructor Michael Tritthart showed us how to create a Google My Map for your real estate business and embed it into your website. Doing so can boost your SEO power and lead capture benefits. Today, we will recap the steps of creating a custom map during our Ambassador webinar.

This year, we welcome R. "Ray" Wang as our Mega Technology Camp keynote speaker. Spring Clean Your Online Presence

Greetings, KW Technology Ambassadors! Happy Day After RED Day! We enjoy seeing everyone's stories, photos and videos on social media; RED Day has such a far reach. Don't forget to use #KWREDDay in your posts!

Here is the agenda for today's Ambassador webinar:


Spring Clean Your Online Presence
Before a consumer decides to do business with you, they’re likely checking you out online. When they search for you on Google, what will they see?
Here's how to find out:
  1. Log out of your Google accounts or use a browser where you're not logged in. This is because Google personalizes results based on your account activity.
  2. Search for your name. Browse several pages of results and make a note of what you see. 
    1. Are you not showing up high enough in the rankings? 
    2. Are you not showing up at all? 
    3. Are you showing up but not happy with what you’re seeing (e.g., out of date information, unprofessional photos, negative reviews)?  
  3. Make a note of anything and everything you’d like to change.
Now, do the same with how you appear on social media. For each of your social media accounts:
  1. Log out of your social media accounts.
  2. Search for yourself by name and see what’s visible.
  3. Log back in and view your profile "as public." Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google+ all make it easy to do this from your profile page. This way you can see what your profile looks like to someone who stumbles on you, even if you're not easily found.
  4. Note the things you want to change, if any.

Mobile app updates and answers to Ambassador FAQs

Greetings, KW Technology Ambassadors! It's Friday, and time for your weekly update.

Multiple apps for agents in multiple Market Centers
If you're one of the few thousand KW agents who are currently active in more than one Market Center, you now have an app for each Market Center that you work in. While it's technically still the same app, you now have the ability to promote and share both brands with your clients. Each "app" has its own unique app code, download page URL and branding.

Answers to the top questions received during Ambassador webinars
Because we receive many of the same questions during each week's Ambassador webinar, we thought we'd share those - along with their answers - for you, all in one place.
  • Is this webinar being recorded? Yes, we record every Ambassador webinar and upload it to KWConnect within a few business days. 
  • Can I have a copy of these slides? Yes, we make all of our webinar slides available in the "Trainer Toolbox" which you can access through the KW Technology community. From the community toolbar, click Tools > Documents and navigate to the Trainer Toolbox folder.
  • How do I access the KW Technology Community? From your myKW.kw.com home page, click the myMarket Center Intranet link at the top of your myMarket Center News box. Then, click the CHANGE link next to your profile photo and select "KW Technology."
  • Why can't I access the KW Technology Community? In order to access the community you must (1) have an MC Tech Coordinator role assigned to you in White Pages and/or (2) be listed in the Technology Ambassador group in your Market Center's Intranet. If you don't see the CHANGE link in your Market Center Intranet and you are an MC Tech Coordinator and/or a Tech Ambassador, ask your Market Center's leadership to assist you.
  • I want to become an Ambassador; how do I go about that? Direct a member of your Market Center's leadership to this page for assistance.
  • Who do I contact if I need help? If you have questions about the Ambassador program, contact ambassadors@kw.com. If you have questions or trouble with any KW Technology products, contact support@kw.com.
