KW Technology Ambassador Update | August 27, 2014

Greetings, KW Technology Ambassadors!

Thanks to all of you who participated in the Ambassador webinar last Friday, August 22. The main discussion items were:

EARLY BIRD OPPORTUNITY FOR KW TECHNOLOGY AMBASSADORS
WolfNet is offering a mobile app upgrade which allows agents to (1) specify a vanity mobile text code to put on signs and (2) display their own branding.

The option to upgrade will be available in the WolfNet BackOffice on September 15. Ambassadors can explore the upgrade option as early as September 9, so that you’re prepared to help any of your agents who wish to upgrade. If you would like the “upgrade” button enabled in your WolfNet BackOffice on September 9:
1. Log into Google with your @kw.com account
2. Complete this brief form to opt in.

This will not commit you to purchasing the upgrade, it just allows you to view the upgrade process.

MEGA CAMP SESSION FOR KW TECHNOLOGY AMBASSADORS AND MC TECH COORDINATORS

  • Wednesday, September 17
  • 11:15 AM to 1:15 PM (just before Mega Tech)
  • Rooms 17A and 17B
  • Bring your own lunch!

INSTRUCTOR DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP HIGHLIGHTS
Last week, the KWU staff delivered an amazing day and a half of learning, sharing and growing for KW instructors and trainers. During this workshop, we learned how to be insanely great, “KOOL” presenters who bring passion and energy to all that we teach. Don’t miss your opportunity to sign up for this workshop when it’s offered again! Read some of the workshop highlights here.

Here’s what’s on the webinar schedule this week. And, don’t forget that we’re constantly adding new videos to the KW Technology section of KWConnect.

Have a great day!

KW Technology Ambassador Update | August 19, 2014

Greetings, KW Technology Ambassadors!

Thank you to all who participated in the Ambassador webinar last Friday, August 15, and our sincere apologies to anyone who had trouble getting into the call. We had been experimenting with GoToWebcast and thought that the reminders coming to you from GoToWebinar would properly direct you to the new link, but many have said that was not the case. Fortunately, the recording of Friday’s webcast is available now so you can hear what you missed.

WEBINAR PLATFORM UPDATE
As a result of the experiment, we’ve decided to resume our webinars in GoToWebinar until we can improve the audio quality and registration process for GoToWebcasts. This Friday, August 22, and until further notice, please revert to the original GoToWebinar link to register and join these calls.

We appreciate your patience and input as we continually seek ways to improve your learning experience.

EARLY BIRD OPPORTUNITY FOR KW TECHNOLOGY AMBASSADORS
Also, on last Friday’s call we extended a KW Mobile App Early-Bird Opportunity for KW Tech Ambassadors.

If you would like the “upgrade” button enabled in your WolfNet BackOffice on September 9, please complete this brief form to opt in. This will not commit you to purchasing the upgrade, just to view the upgrade process. More details can be found on last Friday’s webinar slides.

KW Technology Ambassador Update | August 6, 2014

Greetings, KW Technology Ambassadors!

Thanks to all of you who participated in the Ambassador webinar last Friday, August 1. The main discussion items were:
  1. eEdge myMarketing Launch Updates—On the evening of July 23, Market Leader rolled out a variety of updates and upgrades to the myMarketing portion of eEdge. We became aware of several issues that users have been encountering within the new system and we are working to address each of them as quickly as possible. View a list of the known issues, along with the status of each issue's resolution.
  2. Market Leader Champion Program Extended—Market Leader has extended all Champion benefits for another two months. If you’re currently a Champion, you’ll receive a recertification invitation around the middle of August. At that point, you will be required to take and pass the new certification quiz in order to maintain your Champion status. You may take the quiz as many times as you need to until you pass.
  3. eEdge myTransactions Updates—As of July 26, the compliance review process has gotten a lot easier! Learn about the new the myTransactions features.
  4. KW Mobile App Updates—Two exciting updates have been made to your KW mobile app:
    • Originally, your mobile app reflected a “Serving Areas” field which was populated by your market center’s city and state. You now have the ability to customize this feature to fit your business and the areas you serve. A new field has been added to the eAgentC Agent Website Admin Tool that will allow customization of this information. Learn how it works.
    • When a consumer visits your agent website on a mobile device, they will now be taken to a new mobile landing page which includes an option to return to your full website, in addition to the option to download your mobile app. Learn how it works.
For your convenience, the slides from Friday’s webinar are available for download now.  To access them:

  1. Log into Google with your @kw.com email address.
  2. Open the Google Drive folder containing all 2014 KW Technology Ambassador webinar slides.
Also, we’ve learned that DotLoop recently made a system update that will require you to enter your password if you're accessing myTransactions through the single-sign-on process from eEdge. If you don't remember your password, simply click the "Forgot Password" link and you'll receive an email prompting you to reset it.

Here’s what’s on the webinar schedule this week. And, don’t forget that we’re constantly adding new videos to the KW Technology section of KWConnect.

Have a great day!
